"We've just returned from a 6-day break at Fornells
with 6 hours of beginners tuition at Gualta.
You asked for feedback so here it is. We have nothing but good
comments - the organisation was perfect, no problems with car
hire, hotel booking etc. The Hotel
in Fornells was everything you said it would be, superb
service, excellent food and beautiful location. Just what we wanted.
The golf tutor, Jane, was as patient as you said she would be
(and she needed to be with my errant drives!). I still need to
practice off the tee but both of us felt that our short game greatly
improved. So very worthwhile. It was also our first visit to this
area - we were enchanted with it and will certainly go back.
One, hopefully constructive, comment on the directions from Barcelona
to Fornells. I think some of the road numbers have changed
since these were printed. Out of Barcelona it would be
as well to advise travellers to follow signs for the AP2 (lorry
route) to Girona. This leads to the AP7. I don't think
the A17 exists any more. Also coming off the AP7 at junction 6
the C255 seems to have changed to the C66 (not that this is a
problem, as the signs to Palamos are obvious).
In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and will
almost certainly book again with you. Our needs might be slightly
different from standard packages - as I assume you can tailor-make
holidays to suit.
