The Romanesque town of El Vendrell lies on 7 km
of sandy beaches fully equipped with a range of waterfront
sports & services. The beach of El Vendrell has
been awarded the blue flag since 1987 and as a result it
has become the principal turistic attraction of the town.
The three beaches: Coma-ruga, Sant Salvador and
El Francàs, are all known for their calm, crystal
clear waters and the warm temperature of the sea. The sea
here is also famous for its high levels of iodine which
many people visit for health reasons.
