Montbrio del Camp is
a small & tranquil town 7km from Cambrils and
its beautiful beach. Surrounded by wonderful countryside scattered
with springs, lakes and waterfalls, the beach and airport
are only a short drive away. There is good shopping around
the market and the pedestrian malls in the city centre. With
the Part Alta has numerous antique shops, art galleries
and Roman reproduction art. Delicate handmade lace and embroidery,
regional Tarragona Priorat and Mistella
red wine and local ceramics in the Calle Cabutxins
by the Roman Forum can be found here. The Picasso
Museum in Horta de Sant Joan makes an excellent
day trip. The area is rich historically, especially in and
around Tarragona. Visit Roman aquaducts and an amphitheatre,
beautiful medieval cathedrals, Cistercian monasteries and
many fine vineyards.
