Robert Trent Jones Jnr designed Bonmont Golf Course, which was built in 1990. When someone of Trent Jones’ reputation designs a golf course, you know the owner’s intention is to build a serious course that gains international acclaim. Robert Trent Jones Jnr understands the needs both of the scratch golfer and the high-handicapper; each must be challenged but equally each must enjoy their game. Strategic tee and pin placement offer both, in one grand design. The course makes full use of the natural landscape, and to enhance this, has 90 bunkers and some testing water hazards, with a twisting ravine coming into play on several holes. The course has wonderful views over the Mediterranean, and a spectacular mountain backdrops. Bonmont hosted the 1991, 1996 Catalan Open, won by no less than distinguished players such as José Maria Olazabal and Paul Lawrie respectively. The practice facilities at Bonmont are superb. Only 60 minutes south from Barcelona airport, Bonmont is up there amongst the top courses in Catalonia.

Laid out over gentle terrain with forward tees for the higher handicaps. An enjoyable course normally in good condition. Perhaps some difficult carries for novice players.
