Situated between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean
Sea, in the province of Girona, is a region
of outstanding beauty that has often been compared to Tuscany
or the Provence. On top of a hill overlooking the
enchanting Empordà region sits this restored
castle, an archetictural gem, now a unique & stylish
four-star hotel with 35 high standard rooms and a fantastic
restaurant.
The castle was once owned by Pere Margarit, a captain
who actually served under Christopher Columbus.
Each room has been decorated in its own style and atmosphere
and every room has a spectacular view over the rural countryside.
The restaurant serves dishes made from produce from the
Castle's very own garden or from nearby farms, markets or
fishing villages.
